Drumtech

Name:
Vladimir Kovalev
Techs for since:
2005
Techtip:
Every job has its peculiarities and specific but important details. Snake uses a fairly original and unusual set up for his drums. Difficulties arise during festival performances and specifically in getting everything set back up the way Snake needs. In order to ease this process I carefully mark the set up with masking tape during sound check which helps me get everything back in its place for Snake to play. In Snake's performance he deeply envelops himself in his drumming which results in his set up moving around a lot. For this purpose I always have a lot of masking tape, nails and a hammer. However, with a bit of common sense it is possible to solve any problems that may arise.
Vladimir Kovalev about Snake
I can talk about Snake for hours and hours. I'll start from the fact that Snake created, in the finest detail, everything from his set up to his stage image. He is an organized person and a very fair person and most importantly he understands everything. Together we are a pretty good team and Iwill try to make sure it stays that way.
