Power, and playing for the song.

Drumming means to me:

To me, drumming means happiness.  Even though it's how I make my living, it doesn't feel like a job.  I'm lucky to be able to do what I love, and what I've dreamed of doing since I was a kid.

Advice for up and coming drummers:

Practice, and network. You never know who's goingto be the one to give you your first break, so be nice to everyone, and then have the skill to back up their
recommendation of you.

How would you describe yourself:

Determined, motivated, and hungry.  I'm a hustler, not tricking people out of their money, but I hustle, always working, making a connection, playing a show, doing an audition, practicing, etc.

When I look back on my life one day, I would like to be able to say:

That I lived it the way I wanted to. That despite everyone telling me how hard it is, or that I shouldn't pursue this, that I came out on top, and had a fruitful, fulfilling life because I didn't let anyone deter me.
