I can play really loud
Drumming means to me:
Drumming is my life and has been since I picked up sticks when I was 13.  I would drum all day long every day if I could.  Its a creative and stress release for me.
Advice for up and coming drummers:
Take lessons, play along to your favorite recordings and learn your rudiments. I wish I had spent more time learning them. Its only been in the last couple of years that I've realized how applicable they are in everyday playing and gone back to learn them. I wish I had done marching band in high school and picked up all of those snare chops.
How would you describe yourself:
I'm pretty laid back most of the time. I'd rather hang out with my wife or good friends than go partying.
When I look back on my life one day, I would like to be able to say:
It used to be that I could say I was a professional musician.  Now, I want to hone my skills to the point that I might have an impact on
people and influence or inspire others in their playing (even though I don't consider myself as possesing anywhere near the ability of my influences).
